Welcome 2010

How meriful was our God to us during the past years... specially 2009. We have had times of joy and sorrow .. sickness and good health.. financial gain and loss.. but we have overcome all the negatives... by the love and care of our Almighty God... and have we learnt any lessons during the past year..?? Love God and love your enemy... difficult um...?? still try...
Lets welcome 2010 with hope.. Our God will not put us in trouble where you will be alone.. His hands wil be there to cover us from any harm, hold us from any fall.. because we are His own....

Christmas

Christmas at Cheshire Home, Trivandrum was really a time of joy and self consolation. I forgot my pains and am really boosted up when i saw the smiling face of the inmates there.. Sarasu Thomas who is in a stretcher for decades is the woman with the most cheerful face. She is the author of two books. It was a time to realise how blessed we are in life. What have we to boast? The worldly riches? Power? Influence? Education... ?? oh.. no.. have a cheerful face.. Be content with what God has given us.. Be thankful to the Lord Almighty... Then sing.. Our God is great.. Our God is great... Our Gjavascript:void(0)od is great... Our God is great...

As a choir trainer I was on demand during Christmas season for the past so many years... and I used to run around from one church to the other for practice and performance .... Oh.. fed up of all these... so reduced my run-rate.. now I am almost free during Christmas.... As life taught me many things.. I started looking at the celebrations in a different way... Is there the real joy of Christmas in all the celebrations and programmes and the Carol services...??? Its waaaay down...
Christmas has become just a Mas... a celebration... without Christ... God has given you love love and love... and the love went up the cross so that you have that love.. free free and absolutely free.... How many of us give that love to others...

When I invited a friend of mine to the Christmas celebrations at Cheshire home, trivandrum.. she asked me what she should bring.... I said.. a smile... thats what they long for... give a smile to others ... a helping hand.. a few words of comfort.. then they will smile at you from the bottom of their heart.. Then God will smile at you..

10 years

10 ... is simple arithmetic. 9+1 or 8+2 ...but to be a familyman for 10 years... God has been so kind to me to give Maya to me.... I have heard a message by a priest during a wedding... Marriage is like simple mathematics. (+) means you are adding one more (person, family, friends), a (-) means.. you are subtracting unnecessary things from your life.... (x) means .. ur life is going to be multiplied... (divide) means... u have to divide everything among you....
Are all of us doing that.... Y shud I be bothered about others .... Am I doing it..rather.. Are we as a family doing it..... Thank God for the wonderful family...

Photographer

I always like cooking... though i dont have the patience and taste for it...so is photography... I dont have the taste and I dont know the tecnics... I used to carry my small digi cam where ever I went.. and took pictures which i felt nice... social evils... he he he ... devil looking for evil... Last sunday I took a couple of pictures and sent it to the newspaper.... oh my. god... they published it on Tuesday... but quite sad... I lost the camera on monday.... my fault... who else to be blamed..

Its a joy always to be with kids.... this morning I was in the church sunday school to teach them songs... Last night and early this morning I searched for songs...played a couple of CDs and Cassettes ... I couldnt find a new one.... Finally I decided to make them sing two old songs... Made them into a PP presentation to be displayed there... It was fun... I asked them to sing the song which they liked the most... silence... any song ...again silence... I started an old song.....oh.. my God... they didnt know the song....

Its a question always in my mind.... God what is the purpose of my life...
A couple of days ago this question started flashing in my mind again... Is it that the purpose in my life is being accomplished or... You know something.. this question comes up when you have so much of dreams in life.. then when these dreams are not realised... you feel... God what is the purpose of life... So better to leave all our dreams aside and submit completely to God... Let Him decide.. that too in His time...

i just wanted to scribble something.... not sure if i shud...

Uty. Youth Festival 09

Recently i heard a song ... Far Across the ocean.. From sea to shining sea. ("One song" is the title) I liked the song.. Same day i got a call from a friend of mine in Mar-Ivanios College, Trivandrum for training their team for the University Youth Festival. This song was selected as the first one... and the other one was Banana Boat Song... wow.. they enjoyed singing the songs... they won the prize... Thank God...
